Frequently asked questions
Is Explore really free?
Yes. Explore never asks for a card. You can run the basic lab experiments, join free courses, read the community and ask 5 questions a month, and create 1 child profile.
Is there a free trial?
When a trial is offered, the plan card says "Try free for 7 days". A trial can be used once per account. If the trial asked for a card, the first period is charged automatically when it ends; cancel before then and you pay nothing.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, from My subscriptions. An upgrade opens the new plan right away and charges the prorated difference for the rest of the period today. A downgrade keeps your current plan until the paid period ends; the new plan starts then.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Turn off auto-renewal any time from My subscriptions. You won't be charged for the next period; your access lasts until the end of the paid period and then you return to Explore.
Can I get a refund?
Our support team reviews refund requests; send yours from the Contact page. When you switch from monthly to yearly, your paid period runs to its end and the yearly plan starts then, so there is no unused time to refund.
What is a Founding Member?
Everyone who used Individual, Pro or Family for free before paid plans started is a Founding Member. With the coupon issued to Founding Members you can subscribe at 50% off for the first year; just enter the code at checkout.
Are live classes, bootcamps and one-on-one lessons included?
They are purchased separately. Individual gets 10% off live and one-on-one lessons; Pro gets 20% off bootcamps and 15% off one-on-one lessons. Pro includes 2 live group class credits a month and Family 1 children's live class credit a month.
What happens if a renewal payment fails?
Your plan is paused until the payment goes through and we let you know by email. You can update your card or retry the payment from My subscriptions.
How can a school or company use UZAYCA?
School and organisation plans are priced by the number of people. Reach us through the School / Business card at the bottom of this page and our team will get back to you.
