Clear learning goals
Every course should clearly state the target skills, prerequisites, study time and expected outcomes. Goals, content and assessment methods are designed to be consistent with each other.
Fit for age and level
Language, examples, difficulty and activities are reviewed for the target age and experience level. Content is prepared with an inclusive, non-discriminatory approach that leaves room for different learning paces.
Active learning and feedback
Explanations are supported by practice, projects, problem solving and activities that encourage thinking. Feedback is timely and constructive, helping learners understand their next step.
Quality and safety review
Before publication, content is reviewed for accuracy, use of sources, pedagogical fit, accessibility and safe practice. It is improved regularly based on feedback and up-to-date information.
